Our students are actively encouraged to broaden their learning experience by becoming involved in the community activities and the presence of the wide spectrum of the community utilising the college resources, undoubtedly enriches the educational experience we are able to offer to all who take part. The Leicestershire Youth Service also provides a number of out-of-school activities, projects and youth clubs from their base in the Hind Leys Centre on the campus. The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is also available through the Youth Service, whose staff work closely with the College to support the needs of young people in the area, including young peoples health issues.
